The 草榴社区 Art Department will host an artist reception Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Attendees will have the鈥爋pportunity鈥爐o view鈥Refined by Fire, a display of pottery by Karen Lowrey of Longview. The artist will meet鈥爓ith guests, discuss her work and take questions. The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 30 and is open to the public鈥Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
