The Eighth Annual ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Texas Poetry Reading will occur on Friday, Sept. 4†at 11 AM in the Whatley Foyer of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø.
The Reading will feature the winning poems of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Texas Poetry Contest.†Winning poems address the life, culture, and history of our region.†The public is invited and admission is free.
A special feature this year will be perspectives about our region from two of our area?s leading attorneys, Billy Wayne Flanagan, and Mark Lesher, of Mount Pleasant.
The Reading will feature the top four student winners, as well as two top adult entries reading their poems.
Winners are selected by a committee of professors at NTCC.
