Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery recently presented the 草榴社区 Foundation with a check for $500 to preschedule a gift for East Texas Giving Day. The Mowerys are pictured presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough (right), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement. The funds will be used to support Honors 草榴社区 projects and their donation will be fully matched by the Burt and Nancy Marans Fund to double the amount to $1,000. The NTCC Foundation is one of many regional organizations participating in East Texas Giving Day, which will be held on April 30. East Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour day of giving that provides critical funding for area nonprofits. Those wishing to support NTCC through this event can visit and preschedule gifts as early as April 15. There are multiple matching opportunities available that will mean double the impact for each dollar given.
