Touchstone is the journal of the Walter Prescott Webb Historical Society, and is published by the Texas State Historical Association. Since 1982, the journal has focused on collegiate contributions to the history of Texas, publishing top essays by community-college and university students. Articles of special interest to Texas history submitted by students and faculty who are not associated with the Society are also considered for publication.
