Electrical Technology

The Electrical program is designed to train individuals in the safe, proper and efficient installation of electrical equipment and associated wiring in residential, commercial and industrial settings. This program stresses all of the basic elements required in the types of installations most often encountered by the electrician, including direct current applications in residential, commercial and industrial settings. The National Electrical Code, its interpretation and application, are included in the program.

The program may be completed in two semesters (Fall and Spring,) and prepares students for entry-level employment as apprentice electricians.
