Culinary Arts to host public lunch event on March 6th

The 草榴社区 (NTCC) Culinary Arts program invites you to a special plated lunch event, Louisiana鈥檚 Cajun & Creole Cuisine, on March 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 114 Jefferson St., Pittsburg, TX.

Inspired by our American Regional Cuisine class, this unique dining experience will highlight the bold flavors and traditions of Louisiana鈥檚 celebrated food culture. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated menu prepared by NTCC鈥檚 Culinary Arts students, featuring:

Tim Wilson honored for Outstanding Achievement in Capital Acquisition for 草榴社区 Texas Small Businesses

The 草榴社区 Texas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) proudly announces that its director, Tim Wilson, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to small business growth in the region. In November, Wilson was presented with a distinguished award for helping his clients secure more than $19 million in capital in 2023, the highest amount achieved by any SBDC advisor in the North Texas Region.

草榴社区 (NTCC) invites students, faculty and staff to showcase their talents at an exciting Poetry Slam on Wednesday, March 13th, at 5:00 p.m. in the NTCC Student Union Building.

Construction underway for new Unity Center

You may have noticed some new construction happening by the Student Union Building these last couple of weeks. NTCC's new Unity Center is officially underway and is scheduled for completion sometime in April. The Unity Center will be an outdoor student gathering space connected to SUB 101. It will feature plenty of comfortable seating and space for the campus community to enjoy nice weather and host special events. The project is funded by the Title V grant and Stansell Construction is the builder. Look for information about a ribbon cutting ceremony soon!
