Television's hit show鈥Duck Dynasty鈥is headed to 草榴社区. Phil Robertson, the Duck Commander himself, and his youngest son, Jep,鈥爓ill speak on the NTCC campus on Saturday, April 6. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
This event is hosted by the 草榴社区 Foundation and will take place at NTCC?s Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 25.鈥燗ll tickets are $20 and include a meal and admission to hear Phil and Jep speak.
Theater 草榴社区 to perform The Nerd
Theatre 草榴社区, the student theatre group at 草榴社区, is set鈥 present the ?side-splitting comedy? by Larry Shue,鈥The Nerd.鈥The show will be performed in the onstage theatre at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts and runs February 28, March 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee on March 3 at 2:05 p.m.

Eagles Softball wins 4 of 5 at Cowtown Tourney
The Lady Eagles won four of five games over the weekend as they were in action in the Cowtown Tournament in Fort Worth. NTCC improved to 5-4 this season as the Eagles picked up wins over Rose State, Eastern Oklahoma, Connors State and Western Oklahoma.
?Things finally started clicking for our offense and we were able to put the ball in play,? Eagle head coach Jessica Keith said.
Eagles Baseball sweeps Pratt in series
The Eagles pushed their record to 5-1 this weekend as they swept a three-game series from visiting Pratt Community College. After a disappointing offensive performance last weekend, the Eagle hitters came to life against Pratt as NTCC produced 28 hits and 24 runs in three games this week.
?We were finally hitting the ball the way we should be,? Eagle head coach Josh Stewart said. ?I just hope we can keep hitting like that as the season goes on.?

Weekend EMR class planned
The 草榴社区 Emergency Medical Services program will hold an introductory coursein emergency care, called Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) from March 16 to May 25.
The EMR course is the first level for emergency medical personnel.鈥 The EMR class provides the student with basic skills and knowledge necessary to assess and care for ill or injured people until professional advanced care arrives.鈥犫燭hose currently working or volunteering in daycares, youth camps, schools, industries, firedepartments, and law enforcement agencies can benefit with this training.

Celtic Crossroads to perform at Whatley Center
Just when you think that you have seen the best that Irish music has to offer, a fresh new show from Ireland is taking the art form to an entirely鈥爊ew level. Celtic Crossroads, a group of young performers who present Irish music like never before, will bring the Emerald Isle to 草榴社区 Texas for an afternoon.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 草榴社区 will host their show, The Gathering, on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Eagles Softball splits pair at Eastern Oklahoma
The NTCC softball team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday as the Eagles split a pair of games at Eastern Oklahoma, 4-2 and 1-2.
