NTCC faculty to honor top students
The faculty of 草榴社区 will host the 20th Annual Student Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The purpose of this banquet is to recognize student achievement by honoring outstanding students and alumni.
Students are nominated for awards by faculty members in four categories. The President's Academic Excellence Award is given to students who excel academically.

Tickets available for Ray Price concert
Tickets are still available for the Ray Price concert that will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 草榴社区 this Saturday.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and reservations are recommended.

NTCC to host annual handicapped, kids' rodeos
草榴社区 will host its annual Kids? Rodeo on Wednesday, April 18 at noon at the鈥燦TCC Rodeo Area. In addition, The鈥燦TCC鈥燫odeo Team and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) will sponsor the third annual鈥燦TCC鈥燞andicapped Rodeo at 10 a.m. on the same day.

PTA program has 100% pass rate for fourth straight year
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program at 草榴社区 Texas Community鈥燙ollege recently learned that its graduating class of 2011 had a 100% pass rate on the鈥爁irst attempt for its state licensure exams. According to program director鈥燦ancy Wilson, this is the fourth year in a row that the program has had all鈥爏tudents pass on the first try.
?Typically, you will see a 100% pass rate of a graduating class every 5-8鈥爕ears. I can honestly say that no other PTA school in Texas has accomplished something like this,?
Psi Beta inducts 19 new members
草榴社区 recently inducted 19 new members into Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for students at two-year colleges.

NTCC police academy offers police training for cadets with criminal justice degrees

The 草榴社区 Police Academy at 草榴社区 is offering a capstone course for prospective cadets who already hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice and wish to become a certified peace officer.
