The Adult Education Department at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations throughout the area. Students interested in attending classes must enroll in a 12-hour orientation. The information regarding dates/locations of classes is included below:

Al and Sue Havenstrite recently agreed to serve as chair of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø†Campaign for the Whatley. The goal for the campaign is to raise $750,000 over the next three years to enhance the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The facility hosts many professional and local performances each year and is need of updating. Pictured, Mr. and Mrs. Havenstrite (center) present a check for their gift to the Campaign to Dr.

Guaranty Bond Bank recently gave $3,000 to ²ÝÁñÉçÇø to underwrite the Tuesday, Dec. 13 Cherish the Ladies Christmas concert at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. ²ÝÁñÉçÇø recently held a ceremony to recognize 11 students who successfully completed the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program. Those graduating from the program included: Back row (from left) Evette Alford, instructor; Rachel Smith of Talco; Lori Tursam of Pittsburg; Billie Kealer of Pittsburg; Jessica Lewis of Naples and Kelly Brindley of Pittsburg.

The Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum in Gilmer recently donated $1,000 to benefit the Auto Body portion of the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology program at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø. The Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø will host a 5K Reindeer Run/Walk event on Saturday, Dec. 10. The run will be held on the NTCC campus and begins at 8 a.m.

Registration will be held in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the NTCC campus from 7:00-7:30 a.m. The cost to participate is $25 for all ages, and includes a t-shirt and a pancake breakfast after the run.

Theatre ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, the student theatre group at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, will present the classic children's Christmas comedy†The Best Christmas Pageant Ever December 3 and 4 at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

An evening performance will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and there will be a 2:05 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Dec. 4.†Ticket prices are $5 for Adults, $3 for ages 17 and under, Sr. Citizens, NTCC Faculty and free for NTCC students with current ID.
