Have you registered yet? As much as we may hate to admit it, summer is almost over. It's time to enroll in classes before it is too late! The fall semester begins Monday, Aug. 27 and there is still time to sign up. If you don't need to register yourself, please encourage a friend or family member who is considering college. You can start the process online at or stop by to speak with our friendly student services staff.

Honors ��������, the honors program of ��������, is accepting entries of poems and images for its annual �������� Texas Poetry Contest. This is the first year that an image category has been added for original photography and artwork. All submissions should focus on �������� Texas and enhance or enliven our sense of the surroundings, people, the culture, and/or the history of this area.

The contest is open to both students and members of the community and there is no cost to enter.

                                       

Dear NTCC Family, A&M-Texarkana at NTCC is having our annual Stuff the Bus Campaign to help support our kiddos with Communities in Schools!  If you can donate one back to school item that would be very much appreciated.  If you BRING 5 items, you will be entered to win a $50 VISA card!! You can drop off your donation in UHS 113 with Ms. Shannon.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at �������� recently announced its 2018-2019 entertainment lineup. Season tickets are on sale now and individual ticket sales begin Wednesday, Aug. 15. The Entertainment Series, which is included in all Friends of the Whatley season ticket packages, kicks off with the 3 Redneck Tenors on September 25. They are a “new breed” of tenors, combining musical comedy with classically-trained singers to create a truly entertaining experience. The 3 Redneck Tenors are sponsored by Ruby R. Neely.

The �������� Eagles Baseball team is off to a hot start in conference play. The Eagles currently sit near the top of the conference with a 3-1 record.  They swept a three-game series against Bossier Parish Community College this past week.

The Eagles shutout the BPCC in the first game 4-0. Chandler Dean, a Pleasant Grove product, took the win on the mound.  He gave up three hits and zero runs over seven innings.
