CPR for Healthcare Providers†? Open to health professionals only (or those in training for a health care field), this eight-hour course is designed to give instruction in lifesaving skills.

This $1,000 gift to the NTCC Honors program marks the fifth year in a row that Cypress has supported a NTCC Scholar with the use of a new laptop. The Tennison Memorial United Methodist Women recently gave a $500 scholarship to the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Foundation. The group contributes a scholarship annually to help a deserving NTCC student offset college expenses. The Eagles? men?s soccer team has jumped out to a 3-3 record this season despite battling nationally-ranked opponents and injuries to key personnel.

After opening the season with a 2-1 win at Ranger, the Eagles were on the road for a conference matchup in their second game as they faced Coastal Bend College in Beeville Sept.

Beverly Austin was honored with the †2012 State Star Award at an awards ceremony Tuesday night in New Orleans before representatives of 50 states, the U.S. territories and the Organization of American States. † The State Star Award acknowledges extraordinary efforts to achieve and support the goals and mission of the North Texas SBDC Network.
