Cypress Bank gives Honors laptop

B. Gooding, left, Vice President of Cypress Bank, recently presented Pittsburg High School graduate and ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Presidential Scholar, Ricky Huitema (right), with a laptop to use during his studies this year. This $1,000 gift to the NTCC Honors program marks the fifth year in a row that Cypress has supported a NTCC Scholar with the use of a new laptop. Tennison United Methodist Women give scholarship

The Tennison Memorial United Methodist Women recently gave a $500 scholarship to the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Foundation. The group contributes a scholarship annually to help a deserving NTCC student offset college expenses. Marc Williams to speak in SUB 101 on Sept. 27

Marc Williams will speak at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) room 101. Williams' visit comes as part of Multicultural and Career Awareness Week at NTCC. Williams was voted by CNN as one of the "Top 10 College Motivational Speakers" in the U.S. The session is open to all students and staff and there is no charge to attend.

NTCC to host job fair

† † †²ÝÁñÉçÇø will host a job fair on Tuesday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) on the main NTCC campus. The event is free to the public.†More than a dozen local and regional employers will be in attendance.
