鈥 鈥 鈥燭heatre 草榴社区, the student theatre group of 草榴社区, is set to open the acclaimed award-winning romantic comedy鈥Sylvia, by A.R. Gurney, July 12-14 at 7:30 p.m. and July 15 at 2:05 p.m.

Fast track police academy begins August 20
鈥 鈥 鈥燚id you know that you can become a police officer in just 17.5 weeks?鈥營f you are over 21 years of age, have a clear criminal history, posses鈥爂ood physical stamina and can devote all of your time to learning, then鈥爐he police academy may be the right program for you.
鈥 鈥 鈥燭he 草榴社区 Police Academy at 草榴社区 will鈥爋ffer a "fast track" academy beginning August 20, 2012. This day鈥燼cademy includes physical fitness training and meets from 6:30 a.m. to鈥5:00 p.m.
Continuing Education announces new courses for July
The Continuing Education Department at 草榴社区 is pleased to announce these new courses starting in in July:
NTCC 101 night scheduled for June 28
鈥 鈥 鈥 草榴社区 will host an NTCC 101 college readiness 鈥爊ight on Thursday, June 28 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Student Union Building. Representatives from advising, financial aid, admissions, the business office, testing and other areas will be available to assist students.
鈥 鈥 鈥 The event is free and open to the public. Both current and prospective students are encouraged to attend.
NTCC opens disc golf course

草榴社区 recently completed construction on a new nine-hole disc golf course on the main campus. It is free to use and open to the general public.
The course is located on the east side of the campus and the first tee box is located between the new Student Housing East building and the back of the Eagles Softball field.
Upward Bound team named Fittest Employees for June

Jackson finishes 10th at CNFR
鈥 鈥 鈥 Dustin Jackson, a team roping header from 草榴社区, finished the 2011-2012 season at 10th in the nation last week at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming.
鈥 鈥 鈥 Jackson was partnered with heeler Corey Hendrick of Wharton County Junior College. The team missed their final steer in the short round, dashing their hopes of a higher finish.

鈥 鈥 鈥 After the first three go-rounds, NTCC's Dustin Jackson has secured a spot in the short round and is currently in fourth place in average for Team Roping (header).
